Treatment Team

In addition to telehealth with Adam Thomas, AutonoMe Counseling Center, LLC also contracts with the following dynamic team members for children and adolescents in New Jersey:

Eric Kaighn, LPC, NCC

Eric Kaighn joined AutonoMe Counseling Center as an IIC and an outpatient provider. Eric formerly worked at Ocean County Mobile Response and excelled at his position as a Case Manager. Eric is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy to work with various levels of trauma, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. Eric uses GB-CBT (Game Based Cognitive Behavior Therapy) with the younger kids struggling with oppositional behavior problems, anxiety, depression, grief, obsessive compulsive behaviors, and trauma. Eric also uses an integrative model for teenagers, with a combination of CBT, psychodynamics, dialectic behavior therapy, and existential theory. Eric is trained in Nurtured Parenting and works with adults in the office setting. Adam brought Eric on because he believes Eric can do even better than Adam as a therapist with the younger population.

Randy Orlowsky, LPC, SAC

Casey Smith, LPC, NCC

Casey is an LPC who specializes in IIC with play therapy with younger male and female children. Casey has extensive experience in Substance Abuse in older male and female children. Casey is also an expert in creative arts therapy and works extremely well with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Adam brought Casey on because he believes Casey does even better than Adam in the IIC field.

Jordon Lupon, LPC, ACS

Jordon is an LPC who has been in the field for a long time. Jordon will be primarily working with Monmouth Cares families. Jordon works with the younger kids struggling with oppositional behavior problems, anxiety, depression, grief, obsessive compulsive behaviors, and trauma. Jordon also uses an integrative model for teenagers, with a combination of CBT, psychodynamics, dialectic behavior therapy, and existential theory.  Adam brought Jordon on because he believes Jordon does even better than Adam in the IIC field.

Travis Fragale, LAC

Travis is an LAC who has been in the field for a long time. Travis will be primarily working with Monmouth Cares families. Travis works with the ages 9+ who are struggling with oppositional behavior problems, anxiety, depression, grief, obsessive compulsive behaviors, and trauma. Travis  uses an integrative model for children with a combination of CBT, psychodynamics, dialectic behavior therapy, and play therapy. Adam brought Travis on because he believes Travis is the best in the IIC field.

Nikki Tierney, LPC, LCADC

Nikki is an LPC who has been in the field for a long time. Nikki will be primarily working with Monmouth Cares families. Nikki works with the younger kids struggling with oppositional behavior problems, anxiety, depression, grief, obsessive compulsive behaviors, and adolescent problems. Nikki uses an integrative model for children, with a combination of CBT, psychodynamics, dialectic behavior therapy, and and play therapy. Adam brought Nikki on because he believes Nikki is the best the IIC field. Nikki also works privately with adults and has a specialty in substance abuse.

Matthew Checinski, LPC, SAC

Matthew is an LPC who has been in the field for a long time. Matthew will be primarily working with Monmouth Cares families. Matthew works with teenagers struggling with oppositional behavior problems, anxiety, depression, grief, substance abuse, and trauma. Matthew uses an integrative model for teenagers, with a combination of CBT, psychodynamics, and dialectic behavior therapy. Adam brought Matthew on because he believes he is the best in the field.
